I had a wonderful birthday and a great excuse why I'm only checking in now. Did a little camping and fishing with some good friends. Smallmouth bass, walleye, drum, gar, pike, flathead and channel catfish and a couple paddlefish to round out the multi-species trip.  TJ, could not locate the sauger. Last year, I caught more of them than I did walleye, but not the case on this trip. Today, my son wanted me to take him and his cane pole to a local neighborhood pond for a kids fishing contest he entered. Was going to try to add bullhead to his list of species caught and he did, catching multiple fish on two pound test. Finished the morning by clearing the little park of trashellunge.

Josh, I'm still having trouble with all this. You're 1 day older than me, but you look 20 years younger. Maybe I should lay off the Mountain Dew and Cheetos.
