I was considering using this product to control my algae problem in my pond. This is a big algae problem in an estimated 1.3 acre pond. I would like to hear comments, good and bad, on this product.

How much does a gallon treat?
When it kills the algae, it doesn't make it float to the top does it? I am a rookie at this, the first pond I have owned. Thanks for all the help.

I'm like Lee and mostly use liquid as well. If below the water simply put the wand under the water and spray close to algae. To make it simple I use a 2-4% solution. Pretty much anything you touch with a good mist will get it. I do not have the label in front of me, and this is not what it describes, so I should not even being telling you to do it that way, but it makes it simple. You should be able to treat your entire pond several times with a gallon. It will turn brown and then fall to the bottom. I woudl not apply more than one quart at a time in your pond just to be safe.
