Will RES eat AM5 or 600? Or do they not much care for it? I haven't caught 1 RES this year but we been using food for bait. Last year the RES we caught were on live worms.
thanks,

I find it difficult to convince established RES to take pelleted feed.....I have observed RES x BG hybrids readily consuming it, however.
"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.

I thought that may be the case. I guess I will have to fish with some smaller minnows or worms to see if I can catch a couple? I would like to know if I still have a few or not and how big they are getting.
thanks

Some on here have worked hard to pellet train RES. It is a difficult process but can be done. Expect high loss rates of around 75% when feed training RES in cages. Some RES will learn to take pellets on their own. These are usually pellets that are soften and have sunk and are on or near the bottom.
