I have an old pond that has a hole in the dam that is lower than the outlet. Don't know what has caused the hole muskrat or tree roots. What would be the best way to fix this? Filling the hole with some type of flowable fill or digging into the dam to fix the problem.

I would dig. There are some who have tried patching but I have seldom heard of success.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley Rancher and Farmer Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP

Jad, welcome to the forum. Your forum name brings back memories of a buddy in California. His dog was named JAD. "just a dog". I second digging and packing with clay.
