Never would of thought that snow geese would land on my pond, let alone in April and right in front of the house, but this is what I found yesterday when I got home from being gone all weekend. Who knows how long they where there http://s290.photobucket.com/user/lassig/story/7273

Wow!! How lovely! We had a pair of wood ducks overnight on ours last night, but our Boxers scared them off next morning. Poop. :-)

There where 11 and man where they eating the grass and weeds around the pond. Season closed 3/31 but I did think of that for a moment.

Leave them stick around and you won't have to fertilize the pond OR cut the grass!
