Does anybody know of a contractor with pond building experience in the Houston (or more specifically Fort Bend county) area?
I've got what seems to be the most common problem for new pond owners - namely a big hole that won't hold water. I'm ready to do the bentonite treatment ( a second time) but I would really like to find someone with that specific experience. Theres plenty of dirt movers around that can dig nice pretty holes but I'd really like someone that has real pond experience.
Anybody got someone you can recommend?
Thanks!

This is by no means an endorsement, but Billy Cooper seems to fit the bill.

Hey Guys, thanks for the replies. I had actually spoken to Mac at Lake Management Services before I had the pond dug to get his opinion on the site and feasibility and to get the name of someone who could do it properly. While he was able to tell me the things to watch out for and to insist on from the dirt man he didn't really have any names at the time. In hind site had I followed his advice a little more carefully I probably wouldn't be in the situation I'm in now. His expertise seems to be more in management and problem solving of existing lakes and ponds on quite a bit bigger scale than mine. I am going to stop by and see him again though.
I'll also give Billy Cooper a call. Thanks!
