If you have a moment, please say a prayer for my friend, Ron Hilliard. He recently got sick with lung cancer. Heard today that they stopped all treatments. Guess they discovered it too late  Much appreciated.

Prayers sent. Yes that is why they stopped treatments. Time to go see him is now.

Prayers from Indiana.
My next door neighbor lost her Father on Sat. He was diagnosed with cancer late last summer. Hospice was called on Friday and they brought a fancy moveable bed for him to make him more comfortable at home. He was in the bed for 13 hours. He went quickly, surrounded by his family. Her Husband's Father also has cancer and they both were in Chemo together. He's up and mobile, but this is the 3rd time that it's come back, and they think it'll be the last time.

Prayers from Sunbury, Ohio sent. JKB, next time you see him, get in his ear and tell him "NOT TO GIVE UP". I'm not giving up on him and he shouldn't give up on himself either. Will power is a lot more powerful than most people believe.

Ron is still in the hospital, and currently strong.
The cancer is growing and spreading, and the doc's can't do anything about it. It did not respond to any treatments, and they threw everything they had at it. So it's pain management and quality of life, even if it is in a hospital bed.
A few of us from work are going to visit this Thursday.
I hope something really good happens soon, because it is going to suck working on his roller coasters without him being around.
Talked to my boss today. He made a comment, "people die, but projects move forward"!
Kinda sounded cold to me. Where is the "HOPE" and "LOVE" in a statement like that?

JKB,your boss did seen cold by that remark. His attitude may change when he is impacted by a calamity. So sorry about your friend, call him as often as you can. You will not regret this.

Boss isn't nasty at all, but indifferent to such events as to the bottom line of cranking in a few bucks. I really hope Ron makes it, and it will be Prayers that make it happen! Thanks!

Ron is in a better place now with no pain from cancer !!! It's those who are left behind that feel the sorrow - not Ron. It takes time - sometimes a long time. Be strong and celebrate his life.
