Aeration Test results from a 3/4 acre north OH pond 150'x220'; 16 ft deep. Memorial day 2003 - No aeration all spring surface temp (66.2F)& DO 10.4ppm 8' 63.0F & DO 9.6ppm 9' 61.2F & DO 7.3ppm 12' 53.6F & DO 3.5ppm 13' 52.3F & DO 1.8ppm 16' 50.2F & DO 0.0ppm STARTED ROTARY VANE 1/4hp, 3 DIFFUERS MEMBRANE; RUN 12 HOURS CONTINUOUS Surface temp 63.3F & DO 9.9ppm 15ft 63.0F & DO 9.1-9.5ppm (several locations) 16' 62.6 - 63.0F & DO 8.3-8.7ppm (several locations) This has been an unusually cool spring for us in northern OH; no day in May was 80 degF. Normally the thermocline ocurrs at or above 6' on Memorial day. This yr thermocline was at 8'-9'.
