Regrettably, the trip is looking very unlikely for me, too. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to work for a living!

It has been a pretty intense few days. For those of you who wanted to attend but couldn't, you missed a really good gathering.
Bob was the typical Bob, and we really put him to work. It was pretty unanimous that Bob was the best presenter at the conference. Because of the weather we had a number of presenters who were unable to get there -- and Bob did an incredible job -- on extremely short notice, to fill in. For instance, the NRCS rep went off the road coming through the mountains. In less than an hour Bob put together a great presentation on pond building.
A little more later.

Glad to hear it went well, Ken, and that you had Bob to backstop you on the no-shows! No doubt he did a fantastic job! Wish I could have made it but will plan it better for next year if you do it again.

Ken and his buddy, Dr. Ken Semmens, did an excellent job putting this meeting together. With the weather, they had quite a few obstacles to overcome. But, they mustered and did it. Nice attendance, good speakers and well-thought out topics. Congratulations, Ken, Ken and team. Those West Virginia folks have plenty of passion for their waters. Report? They had speakers talk about marketing, production, invasive species, permitting and aquaponics. On the other side of the program, there were several people who own private waters, wanting to talk about managing private waters. So, there were producers, middle-men and end users. It was pretty fun.
