Someone may have previously mentioned this previously.
There will be quite a few geezers (myself included) milling around at the conference. It may be helpful if credentials included both names and Forum handles.
Certain others (teehjaeh57 comes to mind) that develop geezer like memory patterns as the evenings progress may also find dual credentialing helpful.

Remember -- I'm not Randy (rmedgar), and Randy ain't me (Catmandoo). We are friends. We are similar in many ways, but we aren't twins, brothers, or even related except for our friendship through Pond Boss. Somehow people regularly confuse us for each other. So, if you get the blank stare when you start talking to Randy, remember, it could be me!
(Randy -- you wanna swap name tags when we get there? That will really get people confused!)
In any case, I fully agree with Dwight. I'd like to see our Pond Boss names in big letters, with our real names at a readable size (for those with bifocals or binoculars) printed below that.

church, then kids carnival, then volleyball, then fall asleep in chair (while Brook got the kids to bed), then work today. now home and deeply sorry for the negative thoughts and potential self-esteem issues I have caused my elders here on the forum. I really am sorry for how old you guys are and for making fun of something totally outside of your control...I can only imagine how wise and full of experience and knowlege yall must be and will simply wait my turn in this line headed up, over, and then eventually down the hill....
Now I will google Hubris to see what it means, fall asleep in the middle of working on something probably important and get up in the AM to do it all again.

Well, full of something, that's for sure!

I'm excited. Have not heard if there will be a silent auction. I am bringing a couple of things just in case.

Hubris ( /ˈhjuːbrɪs/), also hybris, from ancient Greek ὕβρις, means extreme pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence or capabilities.....In ancient Greek, hubris referred to actions that shamed and humiliated the victim for the pleasure or gratification of the abuser...
So I finally got around to looking that up...I guess it will be some time before I truly understand gerontology...

Thanks, Fred, for caring and bringing the auction items. Several of the students coming to PB V have been helped by the Jesse West Fisheries Research Endowment.

I donated $40 for about 5 slices of that great pastrami...it was dang good, but was hoping for a better deal this year.

Naturally, I take this as a compliment.

Bluegillerkiller -- Are you going to be there? We live 20 miles apart and have never met. It would be great to see there.

What color cumberbunds and bowties are us guys supposed to wear for the ice breaker and the banquet? I would prefer to just wear one pair of bib overalls for the week, so I want to make sure I'm properly color coordinated.

catdawg, u n me r eerily similar in 2 many ways....the main dif though on the fashin issue would be that my care factor is 0 for color coordination. My main concern for attending an event would be if shoes are required.....

I"m still trying to decide if I should wear my good shirt.
"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.
