The Captain made a good post of encouragement for you guys suffering from this extreme drought before it strayed and got zapped.
We went through the same experiece of dried up ponds and fish kills last year and as the Captain said - this year, spring rains filled our N.E. Texas ponds before going into 100+ days.
Hang in there - always darkest before the dawn!

Sorry for feeding the OT :-( Should have known better. I have to figure out how to host an animated GIF without my own website these days. Uploaders strip them down to a single frame on Picasa and Facebook. Then you all can laugh at the preposterous way in which rain evades my new pond. I have friends who are suggesting looking for chicken feet nearby and voodoo dolls.
