I was wondering if my cc will stop feeding during the colder months. Some times we dont get really cold temps down here the few cool spells we have had this year didnt seem to slow there eating habits at all. Any advice?

I believe that you quit feeding when their metabolism slows enough that you are wasting food. That might not happen in your area.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

CW says CC feed when water surface temps are 60 deg F or higher. My experience follows that pretty well; the lowest surface temp they have eaten floating feed at was 58 deg F. Maybe you won't get that low.
Due to lower metabolism, when the water's about 60 deg F they will only eat (a substantial amount) every 3rd or 4th day. You might get cool enough some times to notice a slow down in their eating.

And "CW" is what? or who?
