I'll try here-We have a 66acre lake and the dam broke and has been fixed, water level is still 2ft low. There is about 50' by 300' water way that feeds the lake from swamp. The problem is this water way has been heavely infested with what I am 99% sure is parotfeather milfoil-It is choking this waterway out! I have hit it with reward wich kills it quik, but when I rake the dead material it is green underneath. I'm thinking of hitting it with granular Navigate to hit the roots, is this a good idea and is raking the dead stuff out a good idea or am I spreading it! Help please, don't want this stuff spreading to the whole lake. Other than this waterway I have only seen it sparsely around the shore.

I would use a Systemic herbicide. It will translocate thru the whole plant and not just burn off the tops.
