From my limited experience and from what I've been told feed training fish can be more successful by crowding them. Something about the competitive situation makes them more likely to feed. Something to keep in mind.


If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

My yellow perch trained WAY better when I crowded them. Now that they're trained I'm attempting to uncrowd them. Cecil's right on the money as it pertains to my situation.

Ewest, slightly off topic, but about feeds; awhile back I mentioned and you asked for info on sex control feeds.
This from the Rangen website. It is a Tilapia feed, dont know if it will work for other species.
"Rangen, Inc. has government authorization to add methyl testosterone to the diet for sex control"
It is their 55% fry feed.
