Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

You'll get tired of it soon, unless you like to see yourself all the time! The flipping between photos was what I was referring to. I could try make the "Pimp" thing work if you are still interested

If you hadn't noticed, he is all set with a avatar. Sunil's avatar looks great. I could pick him out of any Pittsburgh or Somerset lineup with those photos. Thanks Dwight for the work you are subtlety doing behind the scenes with the Pond Boss website. Thanks Sunil for being a good sport, great moderator, and a great friend.

Just kidding earlier Anyone notice this website to get really, really slow recently? Usually only during the day. Every other website I visit zips along as expected. Even at work, it is like waiting for a slow speed connection. Just curious!

Seems O.K. to me this afternoon/evening. Nothing unusual.

Even at work, it is like waiting for a slow speed connection. Just curious! As Esshup said, I too haven't noticed anything unusual. I check the site frequently -- at least every hour or two during my waking hours. Most of my checks are on an AT&T Android phone, which can be a little slow to update in the Wi-Fi mode, but even then, I'm not seeing any issues. Is it possible that it could be Sunil's new avatar? Sunil's appearance could be scaring your connection!

Firefox and Chrome. I have charter cable @ 30mb/s. That is probably why I notice it. It seems to have started about a week or two ago. Pages hang there for a few seconds instead of, if you blink, you missed it. I have also been having reply's hang for a while also. Really no big deal. Only happens during the day.

Sounds like a more users were added by the cable company.... I have that problem when using Virgin Mobile Broadband in the city on the laptop. I'm O.K. using it in the morning, but faternoons/evenings I can't even get enough bandwidth to get some websites to load. Forget about viewing pictures on here!
Same with e-mail. It won't send/receive in the evenings, it times out.
Just checked speed via CNET bandwidth meter test 14538 Kpbs here at the house.

54 mbps for me on my internet. I had a bit of delay posting a reply last night.
