I know there was a post on here a few years ago on where to buy Alum, but does anyone have any updated contacts? I live in Dallas and the property is on the west side of Canton, so we can probably cover a lot of area for competitive pricing. We're only going to need between 5-10 50 lb bags.

The NE TX co-op does not have any which is VERY surprising to me. Actually, both the individuals who I spoke to this morning really didn't know what it was or what it was used for. They told me I needed something else....I kindly told them I knew exactly what I was looking for.

Actually, the co-op just called and located some for me at $28 per 50 lb bag. Is that a fair price or can I get it cheaper?

Thanks James! I will try them tomorrow.

I spoke with a gentleman from Winfield Solutions (formerly Estes) in Carrollton and he quoted me $19 per 50 lb bag. I thought that was really good.

That's a little better. $28 is a ripoff.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
