Pond Boss Forums AERATION Systems questions recommendation for aerator

Been searching for an aerator and not sure what we need... it's for a small pond (1/3 - 1/2 acre) that is boomerang shaped, about 9-10' deep on both ends, and next to the woods (pic included). Want a bubbler (no fountain), but not sure of size and # of heads needed for the pond shape. thanks!

Look at placing two stations equal distance apart and supply as little as 2.5 cfm open flow minimum or 4.2 cfm maximum.

What is age of pond and fish population, light- med -heavy?Plant, algae issues?

Is the volume mentioned above, 2.5 -4.2 cfm for each station, or is it total.

Total, two stations with 2 >9 inch membrane discs each or 4 total discs. A Vertex CoActive airstation (2 > 9 inch discs)has an operating range of min 1 cfm (I prefer a little more)and a max of 2.5 cfm.An Air One Plus for example has a compressor that has 2.5 open flow cfm and supplies ample air to two Co active air Stations or 4 total discs.Hope this helps.

it is operateing, but not enough air.

Who is the manufacturer, how old is it, and what maintenance has been done to it? Please describe the diffusers (how many, what type) and how deep they are in the water.
