Hi all, glad forums like this exist.
I recently bought a house in west central Georgia. There is a 1 acre pond that has been neglected for years. The pond sits below most of my 10 acres and I get clay run-off. I have started addressing the run-off by adding rocks and other organics to slow the flow.
My question is, if I get the run-off slowed, how can I cheaply resolve the suspension.
Is it accurate to think the fish in my pond are very small due to the reduce visibility and lack of light? I would think the sunlight would create a food source.

Iya, welcome to the forum! Let me correct one thing about your first post. Hi all, glad a forums like this exists. I would definitely get a good amount of thick grasses established in that watershed to reduce the run off. As far as reducing the suspended clay, I'll let someone else field that question. I would think over time it would settle.

I have read that thread. The only issue I seem to have is finding a supplier for the Alum.
