another thought of mine would be stocking walleye in a pond would they make it in the north mississippi heat? would they spawn in a 1.5 acre pond thanks in advance
north mississippi 3 acre, 1.5 acre, 1.2 acre, .75 acre, .3 acre, two .25 acre

I doubt they would do well in a north Mississippi 1.5 acre pond.
It is highly unlikely they would have a successful spawn in any 1.5 acre pond.

In ideal conditions I am seeing a very limited spawning success of WE in ponds 1-5 ac. Thus don't plan on any recuitment. In MS if you want to experiment with something other than LMB, HSB or SMB would be better alternatives to WE.

At least with HSB and SMB, they'll probably do OK when smaller, but as they start hitting larger sizes, the HSB in particular will struggle. Larger HSB don't like warm water. Larger SMB also stress in warm water.
