I need to apply some Renovate Max G which is a granular herbicide to my pond. I have only used liquid in the past and am not sure the best way to spread the granular.
Any recommendations on techniques?
Thanks

For small areas the handheld broadcast fertilizer spreader works pretty well.

We just use a scoop and sling it out over weed infested area.

Greg, that was my plan but then i could not figure out how many scoops to sling in a given area! The bag has some nice info about dividing the boat speed and spreader drop rate by the square of the average size of the lilly pad minus pie are square or something...
Seriously though I should jsut sling out some on the pads and give it a bit and go from there?

Probably just go for it. You can measure how many lbs you throw in a scoop and then figure how many scoops per measured area to acheive desried application rate.
