OP Bluegill Fever B Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 99 Lexington,North Carolina	I have a 1/2 acre pond with LMB,BG and crappie. The bass are very healthy(13 inch bass weighed 1.6 lb.). The crappie are small, the big ones are 8 to 9 inches long and weigh about 2-3 ounces. Do I need to take these crappie out? I think they are overpopulated but unsure. Take someone new fishing at your pond. They'll be hooked forever. 1 acre LMB/HBG/BG pond

OP Bluegill Fever B Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 99 Lexington,North Carolina	To have a small population of big crappie, have medium sized healthy bass, healthy bluegill that have sucessfull spawns(for bass to have forage) hopefully I will stock some catfish 11 inches soon.
