Greetings to all. We live in Virginia and have a small pond (1/8 acre) on our land near Middleburg. The pond is fed by an underground spring and has been in place for over 20 years. Minnows, frogs and snapping turtles are the main residents. I have not actively managed the pond before now, but I hope to learn enough from you all to start that process soon.
We have a small leak in the pond overflow pipe and the water level is down about 18 inches as a result. I hope to fix this leak and then learn as much as I can from you all about pond maintenance and pond health.

Welcome to pond boss, let us know what plans you have for the pond and what type of fishery you would like.

Welcome to the forum... Middleburg is a beautiful part of the state. Horse country! There are a few other members on here from different parts of VA.
