Does the bass look under feed?

The bass looks a little skinny to me but I'm no expert. I would purchase a scale (if you don't have one already) and start weighing and measuring each fish that you catch. Then you can begin tracking relative weights - this will take out the guess work.

BG looks good, lmb could use some more forage but they tend to thin out late Summer. Looks like it has been eating well most of it's life with girth compared to head ratio. Pretty tough to have it all, or a balanced pond. Big bg and fat lmb can be a goal though. Nice looking fish either way.

The bass looks like an awful lot of the LMB I catch from our pond. Not ridiculously skinny, but certainly not hawgs by any stretch of the imagination. I've got a few that have a fatter look than your guy (and most of mine) and it's always fun to pull one of them out of the water. Had one the other day that was 15 inches and 1 lb. 11 oz. Just knowing it's in there is cool. I would bet you've got some that are outside of the standard deviation curve, as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I added 20 lbs. of tilapia about two months ago and plan on adding ~7 lbs FHM soon, so this should help. I decided to go with 20# on the tilapia because they were fairly large when I purchased, some probably close to 1 lb.
