Anyone have plans for a fish trap like Bill Cody spoke about in "Green Sun Fish Problem" yesterday, Sunday 07/18/10. 12" dia X 3' long cone ends? Would like to begin thinning out pond quickly.
Sometimes ponds are like women, a small one takes less to manage and more time for pleasure

Todd those are some good links, I never saw the one from Bruce in 2005. I like to keep traps simple, use zip ties and make a cylinder out of plastic mesh from Lowes, shape your cone and zip tie into the cylinder, put mesh over the other end and just tie the top part so that you can flip it up, use tiny bungees to hold the door shut. I used a wood hoop from wally world craft dept. to help keep the round shape.
