Bass Pro Coming to My Town! This is definitely some big news for us. My kids fishing park is only 1 mile away from the new store location.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

They put a Bass Pro in about 50 min from my house 2 years ago. I'm glad it isn't any closer or I'd be broke... Now I just need a Cabela's within a reasonable drive and I am set!

BP 45 minutes from here and Cabela's is only another 20 more minutes. I wonder how many times a week Nate will be in there once it's completed??

Closest BP and Cabelas is just over 200 miles from me. I have passed by Cabelas a few times on travels but never stopped in. I heard they are quite neat places. My nephew makes a yearly ritualistic trip to blow all the money he saved the previous 364 days. Go figure. A State virtually surrounded by water and only one BP and one Cabelas, and these are barely over the border. Closest thing we got is a Walmart, and those darn Made in China stickers get annoying

Somehow, someway I am gonna have to figure out a way to get an employee or distributor discount. They are going to need fish for their tanks eventually and I have em: I'm thinking feed trained smallmouth bass, 10 lb rainbows, 2 lb bluegills, 14" yellow perch, 30 lb flatheads, etc. I am sure we can work out some sort of trade.
Also Justin is an aquarium/water quality guru. I am sure they have those sort of people already, but you never know if they may need some local expertise from time to time.

Very cool Eric, I didn't know that some of your fish were in a Bass Pro Shop.
We have three Bass Pro Shops in California but none of them are in San Diego.
Natester, definitely contact Bob Lusk about this, I would think that Bass Pro Shop would love to somehow be involved with your fishing park.

I've got Cabela's about 1:30 away from me - just right or I'd be dropping way more green than would be healthy. I wish we had a Bass Pro handy, though. That would be completely awesome to have both in striking distance, for sure! Why don't we just do an exchange program, Travis? You come here for a weekend and we'll hit Cabela's, then I'll travel to your place and we'll hit Bass Pro!

Ancient fish... A lot of guys mistake them for snakeheads and kill them in the Potomac. They fight like jackhammers too.

Yep at the right timing for sure I would love to get in touch with the right people about supplying fish for the tanks and also for Bass Pro to sponsor a fishing derby or some sort of fishing activity or seminar or something at the fishing park. That would be so cool! We have our own trout hatchery at the fishing park and are only one mile down the river from the new Bass Pro location!!

Having a Bass Pro Shop or a Cabela's move into the area might be good for the local economy, but it sure is bad for individual wallets!

That is a nice dogfish. Woof, woof, woof! Those things are a blast to catch. No beauty contest winners though. They like spinnerbaits up here.
Good morning Dave, I've checked the ships systems, and everything appears to be running normally.
