I have caught 5-6 of the Tigre Bass and 2 HSB this spring but that is all. I just have no way of gauging whether there are a lot more bass still alive and just too smart to hit my lure or if I only have a handfull of bass left after last year's oxygen issue......oh the stress of a pond!!!!

I am going to stock some Tilapia this weekend and probably some additional CNBG or Hybrid Perch.

Unless you have had a die off or are harvesting hard are you at or above maximum carrying capacity here? I am a bit confused how that pond holds all of those fish.

Makoclay, I don't know if you've talked before about all the ways you fish, but have you tried fishing with live bait (Shiners, worms, leaches, live-lining, etc.) yet?

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:"
"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Jim Held,I can't wait till you come up with "Franken-Perch". Perch and walleye are two out of three of my favorite fish to eat. If you can get blue gill in that mix, I'll be on your front porch with my napkin tucked in!!!!!!!!!

Pond Frog,
I did have a couple of incidents that have caused me concern about what fish I have left. I lost a bunch of water and I had what could have been an oxygen depletion incident last year in August.

hang_loose, have you ever been up to Put-In Bay?

The one restaurant, I think called The Boardwalk, has the best Perch & Walleye platter I've ever had, and their Boardwalk hotsauce is the best.

Sunil, I was there years ago with a bunch of friends. Thats about all I remember of that trip. Going to try to make up this summer and will put that on my list of places to go.... Prob. # 2, 3, or 4. How often do you get up there?
