I'm back after a long cold Wisconsin winter. My first question of the season: How many times will FHM spawn in a season? Pond is full. Getting ready for more Fish Danetheman First Pics of the year

I didn't take time to read the link, but IMO and in general FHM as a group will, once they start spawning, different fish at different developmental stages will be spawning constantly through the summer. IN southern waters during the heat of summer FHM spawning can slow or cease due to too warm of water.

You want FHM , give them what they need. Put in 6 or 7 pallets to spawn on in a foot or 2 of water. Not in a stack , a pallet here and there. Hold it down with a big rock. Like Bill wrote , it depends on location. Nice looking pond.

Beautiful looking pond Dan! With all those rocks lining your pond, your FHM will have plenty of places to get their thing on!

Dan if you put pallets in try using pallets with full top and bottom, then put small legs on them, it keeps them out of the mud and doubles the bottom surface area. Great looking pond.
