Has anyone tried PLASTIC pallets for a safe place to hide??. I was over at my wife's work and saw them. 4'X 4' sq.(I think), with 2"x4" sq. holes, pretty neat. So, got three of them and wired them into a triangle. Put it in 4' of water. I am new to creating habitat and have struggled with something to use. Since I have such high turbitity, I can't see if it's actually working and creating a safe place, so kind of seeing if I can get some support from here as to whether a couple more would be a good idea, or more work then benefit.

I've never had the chance to use them, but if placed in 2' of water or less I think they'd make great FHM spawning areas just like the wooden pallets.
If you look in the archives, there is a good thread about using different materials (with pics) for cover.
