I should be banned from the forum for this bone head move. WE cought a 6 inch yellow perch today that had a horn on its back. It was half way between the head and the dorsal fin and about a half an inch long. Well we had the fish in a bucket with a few others and forgot to take a picture and released them all. Sooooorrrrryyyyyy. anyway I doubt I will ever see it again but hopefully. Has anyone else cought a Unicorn fish?

So what kind of recreational drugs do you folks use up there during those long winters?

Just kidding!

I removed a perch today that had an odd deformity. I forgot to take a pic too, but if the crows haven't gotten to it I will take a picture of it today.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Last summer, I caught a mermaid in my pond. She wasn't one of the better looking mermaids that I have, so I didn't get a picture.

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:"
"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Over the years I have posted two photos of fish with horns:

Texas Long Horn Bass:

and of course the dreaded Satan Sunfish:

My stories weren't believed either. \:D \:D \:D

Just kidding of course. This is exactly why you should always carry a camera. A rule that I often break.

Hey if you don't drink beer much sometimes that's all it takes. I rarely drink beer, but when I do, one will make me feel giddy.
