Good design, just to much what-see on the hair dryer. Go to low on that and you should be good. It's not like you need to dry your boots in 34 seconds, have them burst into flame and get launched across the room.

You could always cut the toe outta the boots so the hot air can escape.

I bought that exact one for my son-in-law for Christmas. For me, that would be like putting my boots by the heat register to dry them.
