recently I just lost over 300 redear and blugill 1"to 3" range over the spillway because of a 5" rain in a very short time 10" pipe couldn't take it. 75% redear , my blugill are hybrids, should i replenish my loss or rely on my first years spawn from my bass and maybe substitute fatheads ?

Are you sure you lost them?? Have you seined of shocked the pond to check? Reason I am asking is Bob Lusk told me of a similar situation with a spillway blowing out and when they shocked what was left of the pond, there were still a bunch of fish in it.
