Depending on how tall (and big) the guy is sitting in the chair, I'd be tempted to make it wider.
Many, many moons ago when I was young and foolisher (is that a word?) we bolted a chair like that to a pair of water skiis. After a day of trials, tribulations and re-engineering, we finally were able to ski sitting down. The hardest thing was holding onto the rope getting the whole contraption up on a plane. After that, you could ski all day.

Hey if it works!
I once found a couple of 55 gallon drums on a small lake I lived near as kid. Somehow I strapped some old lumber on top and paddled it around. It opened up a new world for me as I could see and cast to some gorgeous brook trout suspended in a cove on the lake. The water in this small lake probably had a clarity of 20 feet. Anyway some adult ruined it for me by getting rid of it. I guess they figured a kid could fall off and drown. Doubtful as I could probably swim across the lake at the time.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

How big, is he? He is obviously a member of Roll Tide nation, but he aint no Mount Cody.

Completely amateurish design. Where's the cup holder? Where's the cooler? Where's the rod holder? Those are truly intelligent questions. Are you sure you're not from Louisiana?
