Here it is almost Aug. and there were 4 redear on nests this morning and I actually saw 2 of them laying eggs! Now, I do have a spring fed lake, and water temps are in the mid 70's, but is this normal for redears to spawn this late???? Any one else see this in their lake?

I've noticed a few redear guarding thier nests and my water temp is 83.
