placerville CA my buddy who helped me renovate my pond a few years back happens to be a fixture at the local race track. he's been pushin race cars for 25 years. i've been invited several times, but finally decided to put some of it on film. its always a blast. the night was supposed to be just pushing and wreck clearing, but the pace car fella was late, so we ended up also being the pace car. i've never loaded a video here, so this a test of that as well, hope it works and doesnt jam up yer puters......i linked two videos at the bottom (each about 5 megabytes) ONE is a pushing video, the other shows some racing.........i have some great pace car videos, one catches a doozy of a wreck, but i'm scared to put them here cause they go over 20 megabytes. anyways, enjoy... the pushing mobile  pre race pits  this truck used to condition the mud track  pushing during qualifiers  stands starting to fill  pushing during heats  getting ready for final runs  there were some doozys in turn 4 all night  the pace car during a break in the action  video attempt....pushing during qualifiers http://s68.photobucket.com/albums/i9/jdsmith2/misc/?action=view¤t=0609race022.flvvideo attempt....qualifying heat action http://s68.photobucket.com/albums/i9/jdsmith2/misc/?action=view¤t=0609race028.flv

I'll take the pace car... I need a new pick-up and after my current Chevy has left me down badly, I'm going Toyota! Looks like a fun night DIED!

cj, i have to admit, its a nice truck, my friend has a couple of them for his business......but for me, i still cant get good old gmc's out of my blood......dang gm.....whats gonna happen there?
rocky, nice blast from the past. that was quite an orderly evening you had there, much more so than my evening.....i dont think any heat or main race went more than 3 laps w/out a wreck. no drivers were hurt which is amazing when you see how much air a 600 hp sprint car can get after a bad turn at 90 mph.
