Any one have experiance with lochow ranch fingerlings. how bout there PATRIOT STRAIN bass. http://www.lochowranch.com/products/fish/genetics.shtml they want $50 per/fingerling for that bass. like to get some referals before i buy.

I think there is way too much mortality to pay that much for a fingerling. These guys look like pretty good salesmen to me.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I spend way more than I care to admit on fish for my pond. I'm very good at self-rationalization when it comes to the pond or anything else I want.
But I don't think I would pay $50 per fingerling for any kind of fish, really. I've paid over $20 per fish for some adult fish, and didn't feel too bad about it.

I looked at their material. I did not see anything that indicates that they are doing anything different from the things being done by hundreds of other hatcheries/mgt companies. :rolleyes:
