The only one in northern VA that has F1 LMB in it, is a nuclear power plant cooling lake, so the water stays warmer than is normal... I think when they did genetic testing a couple years ago, they found very little FL genetics in the fish though. I think North Carolina/Southern VA in the east and perhaps Oklahoma/Kansas in the Midwest. The farther north you go I think the less benefit you will see from the FL genetics though. Growing season is too short for the results.

There is a study done in OK on the subject and the Flas survived but did not exhibit better growth than other LMB over several years. I will try to find it.
