Just started digging my new 1 acre pond here in Johnstown Ohio. I've read a couple of articles discussing bottom drain pipes to allow drawing down water. Any advice on the best way to do this? Materials and construction?

Thanks!

I think there was a good article about different types in the Jan-Feb issue by Otto title something like Pipes, pipes and more pipes.

Hello, Johnstown!

FYI, that was the Jan-Feb 2008 issue Ryan mentioned.
