I have been informed and tend to agree...

So let the nominations for a new "handle" begin! I am open for any(OK, most) nick names... Let your voice be heard. We'll give the nomination process a day or two and then let the voting begin!

Hmmm, this is going to require some thought. A new screen name is not something that you should just rush into. Let's see what we know about you:

1. You minored in wildlife and fisheries science from Penn State. (What did you major in?)

2. You are a law enforcement officer

3. You have (at least IMHO) a vast knowledge about forage fish species. And appear to give good advice regarding most species of fish, however you need to be re-educated regarding GSF.

4. You instantly became a regular poster to this forum which suggests either that you are committed to the future of pond management or that you should be committed (it's a fine line between the two).

5. You like lasagna.

I shall require some time in order to propose an adequate screen name.

I forget, how many characters are we limited to?

OK, well since it is going to be my AKA... I figure I'll throw an idea out there. Since my initials are TT. I had a nickname of T2. T2 might just be easier than CJBS2003 or smagoogleheim... But I tell ya, smagoogleheim is pretty easy to type out!

1 and 2 are correct... 3, well that is for you all to decide.(Deep down I love GSF, shhhh...) 4, I love pond management and this Forum is top notch! 5, not my favorite but I do like it.

And regarding 1, well that is where my original screen name comes from. I majored in "C"riminal "J"ustice, with a "B"achelor of "S"cience. The CJBS part... The 2003 is the year I graduated...

Hence, CJBS2003...

Although I agree with Bruce's suggestion of an easier to use screen name, I would caution you against leaving the final decision up to him. You are new to this forum so you don't know the entire story about him.

First off Bruce Condello is not his real name, it is a pseudonym or "nom de plume" if you will. His real name is Maxwell Spackelberry (just don't call him Mack). He selected Bruce Condello because he thought it sounded more dignified that his real name.

Secondly he is hiding behind this pseudonym while operating the "Condello Institute for the Creation of Ludicrously Proportioned Blue Gill" and has well known and documented history of terrifying BG into achieving growth rates that are far above normal.

Thirdly he proclaims to be a dentist yet no one has ever actually seen his dental office. I believe that this is just a front to cover his nefarious activities.

I could go on and on but you get the point.

Tom, you should know by now that I have my sources. Every item of information is important no matter how insignificant it may seem at the time. Selecting a screen name is a delicate matter.

Oh and by the way Tom, you have an accumulation of dust behind your refrigerator that you should probably take care of. Just thought you should know.

1 & 2, of course I am.
3. You are a wise and honorable man to admit that you love GSF.
4. Yes this forum is excellent.
5. I didn't say it was your favorite, merely that you liked it.

It sounds like you went through a much more complicated process that I did when I selected my screen name.

FWIW, some days I think of you as "CJ" and some days I think of you as "BS".

For your new handle, I nominate "The Pondmeister formerly known as CJBS2003"
