Well, after many calls I found a place that will give me some bowling balls for my pond. I am going to use 1/4 tube and it will look something like this. Except I will have some PVC legs to get it off the ground. Most of the area I am dealing with is 5' or less.

I will have to post some pictures when I complete it. Tks to all for giving great ideas.
Mike

I have used golf clubs for structure in the past. As a matter of fact they where placed in by the green on number 13 at Turtle Hill Golf Course.

I am planning to do the same. Saw something similar in the BPS catalog. Need to find some cheap polyethelene tubing in bulk...maybe even make some tubing weed beds by sticking the tubing through length of pvc and then filling with sand?

well, I have 4 bowling balls. Two 15lbs and two 6lbs. Now the 15's will sink but the 6lbs will not. So the 6 will be a floating setup. I will take pictures of the process. I will have to call the other bowling ally for more. Right now I have plans for 4 ground shrubs, 8 stands, and 4 to 6 floating (8' of water / size 4'x5').
