I don't have any great knowledge on the subject but will interject one thought. .. Luck. Observing people throughout my life some seem to be just plain lucky. A couple come to mind that have no apparent advantage & actually aren't as adept as their peers at their chosen profession but they somehow are very successful & make up for inabilities with apparent good luck. Things simply fall their way. Maybe the extraordinary fish is just in the right place at the right time.

Randy, We moved them to another lake, a clear one loaded with forage fish. Interestingly, I saw one of them again the following two years. It had declined. Couldn't adjust to the new lake...I learned a lot from my experiences on that ranch. It lost about a pound a year.
Teach a man to grow fish... He can teach to catch fish...
