Special agent Jhap reporting live from Las Vegas. We covertly entered the Bass Pro Shop and snuck over to the magazine rack. It's kinda in the middle of the store in LV. Sure enough in the magazine rack resided Pond Boss magazine. I was displeased with the placement of the magazine within the rack however, so being a duty bound special agent of pond boss, I felt the need to rearrange the magazine placement. With James Bond like speed and agility I moved Pond Boss to the front center. Bruce's cover looked so very happy in front. I took a photo using my top secret camera/fountain pen/shotgun. Unfortunately I might have winged a clerk in the process (the photo button and the fire button are way, too close together). I will put photo up for all to view when I get back.
Sunil, thanks for the pm with your numbers.
To answer other questions raised, I will have some very limited internet access while at our property. About once a week we'll drive over to the combination library/liquor store in our little town and use the internet.
While in PA, I might have access to the net via JWHAP's parents computer.
So far Vegas has been good to us. We're having fun and haven't lost the ranch yet.
This has been special agent JHAP reporting live from Las Vegas.
JHAP HAS LEFT THE BUILDING.

I know, insominia. I hate it when that happens. I got up at 4:45am, read my mail, listened to messages, fired up the computer, then of course immediately logged onto Pond Boss.

Hope you and Ricci are having a great time. Be careful when you get to PA., Sunil lives around there somewhere. He could make you drink a beer or "something"
In Dog Beers, I've had one.

Morning Dave. PM Sent.
We're back from Vegas. We actually came back with more money than we left with. How rare is that? We are low rollers when it comes to gambling but we have fun. Paid cash for all of our meals and fun stuff and came back with a little over 200 bucks more than we left with. Good stuff.
We're home for a few days then off to the ranch. Got a to do list as long as my arm. Home for a few more days then off to Sunil's neck of the woods. I'm going to have to practice my beer drinking just in case Sunil and I can get together.

You will be allowed to drink top-shelf Rum & Cokes, JHAP.

Thanks Sunil. I'm always in practice for drinking Capt'n & Cokes. In fact I practiced quite a bit in Vegas.

Paid cash for all of our meals and fun stuff and came back with a little over 200 bucks more than we left with. Good stuff. I've never met anyone who lost money in Vegas. What are the odds against that?

We've lost money in Vegas in the past, broke even a time or two and this trip won money. Being a bean counter I keep track of it (basically for fun more than anything else).
One thing was very interesting in Vegas is that you don't see any evidence of a slowing economy there. The building that is going on there is mind boggling. Almost every hotel/casino is remodeling or adding an addition. Construction is everywhere.
The housing market there is horrible like most everywhere else. It is a very strange place indeed.
