Luckily I just saw my last post was number 999. For number 1000, here goes. First and foremost, let Bob bend over and let me kiss his, err, backside for letting this forum exist. (yuck). This is a great place we all can escape to when the daily grind breaks us down, there are friends here, and I enjoy the comradery. (Theo will correct that word) George1 is a strong second, you can read his passion in his words, and we run parallel courses with HSB pleasure. Think back, George actually spent his time and money for PB members. He hand tied flies, accumulated our mailing information, and sent his hand tied fishing flies to us for free! I'm 1/2 the man he is. 3rd, I think I have met all the moderators in person, great guys too. NAK there ewest is phenomenal, he can put you on a link in seconds to a topic that concerns you. I have a unique connection to him, not sure why. DD1 is always a straight shooter, he knows a LOT from his experiences, and makes the rest up! (lol) Bill Cody...years ago, send me sexing pictures to help me stock my pond with adult BG, what a rookie I was at that time. I will never forget his enthusiasm during his PB presentation, 1st class. Theo, I doubt I will ever know his real name, but I can assure you I know almost 1000 new words because he makes them up (or uses old English, Latin, etc...i.e. GROTTO Sunil, his SMB are starting to irritate me, I think he needs to do a condello experiment and grow SMB/HSB crossbreeds See you soon my friend! Bruce is last because deep down, we all admire him so I won’t build up his ego + he's a Cornhusker fan, poor Bruce. Hopefully I didn't miss a moderator, if I did, it's because they deleted one of my controversial posts ! Last, lol, I love all my pond peeps that keep me going post to post, looking for something I can answer, but end up finding out what I need to know. There are too many friends out there, so many of you have helped me with the questions I have…who needs google, post it here and get the real answer! Can't wait to post 2000!

You win Theo...off to Wikipedia...and another learning lesson for me. Moderating my post ! RAT! On my 2000th, I might omit you At least I did learn another verbiage from you. Let's see if I can rephrase this. First and foremost, osculate posteriori is on order for letting Bob present this forum to us

Eastland, it's good that I'm a Cornhusker fan, because that's the main reason that I'm humble. The Pond Boss moderators are getting together to get you a gift. On June 20th, between 8:30 and 8:40 p.m. you will be allowed to moderate any of Theo's previous posts. Knock yourself out. Don't feel bad; I've already been moderated today once myself.

The Almighty Bruce...I have no idea how you did it, but the pond I recently excavated is now full pool! Ironically it happened during a freak downpour that lasted only 10 minutes...just when you said, between 8:30-8:40, I didn't have time to moderate Theo's posts, dang. Plus, I have to "look up" everything he says, I need more time Just between you & me, 1/2 of what Theo says it doesn't make sense (i.e. how do geese nest on a shooting range backstop, it sounds more like just a backstop...he's going soft).

Eastland,
If that was your 1000th post why does the website say it's 1006? Inquiring minds want to know.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Eastland well done ! It takes being a friend to make a friend. You have done both. Looking forward to seeing you and your Dad next mth. Stop by the booth for your surprise from the mods.
Cecil the counter keeps going on post #s. When Eastland posts 1007 all his posts will say 1007.

Russell, I am honored to make your list, but WAY too far up the top – I should be at the bottom, having learned from all those guys including yourself. Lookin’ forward to seeing you at the conference my friend. PS: I know Theo’s real name but I’ll never tell..

If I said that I really don't have a pond at all, and that I've faked everything I've said and photo-shopped all of my pictures, could I still hang out with you guys?

With your benchpress numbers we'd be afraid to offend you in any way...so yes.

I'm thinking of switching from raising bass in my bathtub, to raising chickens in my basement. I think FatMcB and I would have alot to talk about.

Fattay, you have permission to crash in Bruce's room if you can't drive (as long as you are not gassy).

Luckily I just saw my last post was number 999. For number 1000, here goes. Eastland -- quite and honor and achievement. As you and others have posted, this really is a great place to gather. It is rare, and a lot of fun, to have so many like-minded people together. I too, heartily thank the moderators for keeping this such a friendly place where we can learn so much from each other. And, of course, I really thank Bob Lusk for making all this possible. Ken
