Fatty and I agree that we are hungry for BBQ. How about Angelos? Rocky, George, anybody else? How about Angelos on White Settlement Drive? Are they still open? You guys got any good or bad days?

Great idea Dave - I had so much fun the last time out I've been lookon' forward to another PB lunch conference.
Right now iffy tho with a nasty cruddy cold.

Thats cold Dave.I own the darn place and the only way to sneak out is to have my wife come in.You KNOW its harder to explain lunch with a bunch of pond nuts than it is to explain why I need to spend more money on the pond!BTW, Im usually off on Mondays

Tom, I REALLY understand being self employed. I expect we could eat on a Monday as well as any other time. And even then, something could come up. Ok, guess I'll have to PM Rocky.

Who's buying this one? I'm in, but Angelo's is cash only no plastic and I'm out of cash at the moment. How about The Rail Head on Montgomery and I-30. It's the happening BBQ place in Cowtown now anyway.

How about next Monday? Tom might be able to escape on Mondays. George might be over the crud by then.

Well, if Rocky wants to go to the Railhead (no idea where that is but...), we'll try it. RT, get us an address to google and a phone number. Since you know the area, give Tom your cell #. If they sell beer, Fatty knows how to get there.

Dave, Angelo's is ok by me now that I have a fair notice I'll bring cash. You can tell Tom how to get there. Both places are very good and I need some Angelo's rub anyway. You make the call. Angelo's is good with me. I just got caught off guard with no cash when this got started and I know Angelo's doesn't take plastic my money of choice. I have cash in pocket so lets go to Angelo's as you stated to begin with.
What I meant by "Happening place" is Angelo's used to be the place yuppies hung out and drank the ice cold schooners. It's now been replaced by the Rail Head which is the place to hang and be seen. Sense I'm married I no longer go to places just to hang and be seen. Both places have equal tasting "Q" IMO. Neither is the best in cow town but neither is Joe T's when you eat Mexican food but the yuppies don't know any better. They go to be seen and not eat anyway. The Beer ain't bad either. Just tell Tom how to get to Angelo's. See you guys on Monday.
