Cool pic, Bruce. I guess it's hard for anyone to suggest that BG isn't a Lusk BG, what with that beautiful lodge in the background.

Well this explains a mystery to me. One of the fish eye manufacturers I use makes an eye with red in it for bluegills. I've never used them as the bluegills up here don't have red in their eyes (at least not that I've seen). I always thought the manufacturer was just not worried about certain details, but apparently he was mimicking what he saw in bluegills in his area, which in north Florida. Uh Oh. Isn't that what I said about those black scales and females?

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Next you're gonna tell us you've never mounted a BG with fender skirts and a hood scoop!

Well this explains a mystery to me. One of the fish eye manufactuurers I use makes an eye with red in it for bluegills. I've never used them as the bluegills up here don't have red in their eyes (at least not that I've seen). I always thought the manufactuer was just not worried about certain details, but apparently he was mimicking what he saw in bluegills in his area, which in north Florida. My wife told me one of the big CNBG's she caught last week had red eyes but wouldn't show it to her color challenged husband.....
