Give us the report. Texas to New England; how much, how deep, how wet or how frozen?

16", in the last 36 hours. On top of 6" of mud in the fields - makes tractoring fun. Does not pack well, but is not drifting too bad either, fortunately.

A couple of inches on the ground and cold. We missed the snow that hit farther east and south of here. O.K. by me. I'm tired of removing snow off the ponds and I'm ready for open water. Trouble is it looks like AT LEAST two weeks out.

Good, steady rain so far today. I don't have an actual reading yet.

Didn't get any of the snow that came through TX/LA last week...deep south Texas rarely gets that sort of thing. I don't think it got lower than 33 during that spell. I think we've had measurable (sticking) snow 2-3 times in the last 25 years.

Hasnt gone over the spillway yet but I expect it it before dark.Kinde hope it does so it can clean all the leaves off the top that came in before they sink.

On another note I think I just heard what may have to be one of my newest favorite quotes...

It's like spring is spronging here. It was in the 70s one day last week. The big Ohio snow missed us, but we did get about 3 inches of rain. It got down in the single digits night before last. It was back in the 60s yesterday.

With daylight savings time here, I got down to the pond last evening. The water was in the high 40s. I saw my big orange koi swimming around -- first time I've seen him since last October. The pond is about a foot higher than normal, and I noticed a number of 4-6 inch bass playing in the grass around the edges.

I threw out a small amount of pellets around the edge of the pond. The trout gleefully gobbled them up, but a lot of lethargic bluegill came up for some too. A most welcome sight.

Supposed to get a high of 87 here on Friday. Then back into the lo 70's for the weekend. Dang, I hate these cold fronts that seem to blow in on the seekends.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
