Is there such a thing as sterile catfish? If so does anyone know anyone is the Alabama, Florida, or Mississippi area? Thanks

A budy of mine told me that he has heard of someone that has these and I found it hard to believe just wondering if was true.

I don't recall hearing of any completely sterile cats; IIRC even the BCxCC hybrids that are rarely and at best locally available have some fecundity. But given a relative scarcity of spawning structures and a healthy BG/LMB population (especially smaller BG, IMHO), CC are pretty much effectively sterile. They may spawn, but recruitment is very low to none.
