on Turkey day. Stay tuned to weather forcasts in the next few days.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Cecil, We got pounded with snow yesterday and today. 10 inches on the ground by noon today. Can't wait to see the mess after tommorrow with the 52 degrees and rain they are calling for. My pond is definitelt on hold now the spring is flowing like hell and saturating everything since I had all the trees cut down. Atleast I got my 1/10 acre pond in to play with some trout over the winter, hopefully the pond doesnt freeze over too badly. The state stocked trout at a nearby lake for the fall and I caught about 80 and threw them in my pond. It is nice and peaceful watching them eat the pellets when they hit the water.
Dreaming of the pond!

Cant wait for the snow.
I have enough equipment that will go through snow, and am looking forward to making a grocery run, or something to that effect for the neighbors.
Just like our neighbors did for our family when I was a kid.
Snow us in and pile it high!
I need a good adventure!!!

I hope you didn't catch 80 all at once! Sounds like a tad over the limit.

Looks like they've backed off of that forecast now for us down here.

I suppose you guys know that it will be down to 36 degrees here this weekend. That does it. I'm heading South to see Al and Dave in the banana belt.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Cecil, Limit is 3 per day! I have made many trips in the last few weeks with my daughter(4 years old) and father. She had a ball catching them and loves to go feed them everyday.
Dreaming of the pond!
