My HSB eat Game Fish Chow like their's no tomorrow but when you fish for them they are very hard to get to strike. I also have WB in my pond and they are much easier to catch. Any body else have the same problem?

What do you use to try and catch the HSB ?

My HSB are far more aggressive than my LMB. I've caught them on rapalas, roostertails, nightcrawlers, rattletraps, and even small BG. I also feed Gamefish Chow and Aquamax Largemouth. They seem to like both feeds. I generally catch them 2-3' down in shallow and deep areas of the pond.

HSB easy to catch on AQMX pellet flies around feeders.
"Minnow" type flies, small rattle traps, small spinner baits and roadrunner jigs are very effective in open water.
N.E. Texas 2 acre and 1/4 acre ponds

I generally use white or yellow jigs or roostertails,(in which I have the most luck) They won't even go neer rattle traps or modle A's the lures I caught them on the first time.
