I was wondering if anyone knows the effectiveness of a grass carp in a pond. I am in CA and we have to have non reproductive grass carp. Do they do a good job or a great job? and how many would I need for a 50 acre ft pond?

What kind of aquatic plants are you trying to control? There is a big difference in their palatability to GC. GC hardly ever consume significant amounts of FA, for example.

PM me or email me if you prefer. Thanks, Jeffhasapondfullofelodea
