For my 1000th post, I am embarrassed to admit that it took me so long to learn enough to ask the right questions, and reluctant to admit that I knew so little to answer questions and share experience and mistakes.
It's been a ton of fun and lots of lasting friendship. George Glazener

I don't know about that asking questions part, george; I think you ask good questions. Even if I'm wrong, we can all learn from the wrong questions (what is a wrong question?), too. You have provided more than your share of good answers and innovation, and nobody has better experiences to share. (You're the only member who's ice-fished farther North than Wood!) Thanks for being here.

The biggest congrats are whipping cancer and being able to contribute a thousand posts.
BTW, I'm whipping up some yellow and pink pellet flies (no ph) to try this weekend. With the thicker foam, it takes about 15 seconds per pellet.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Here's to 1,000 more! Cheers.

George: I just figured it up. I have been a member of this forum for five years and have posted 68 times. I believe if I can keep up that hectic pace I will reach 1000 posts in 2075. Stay tuned, I am sure my post will be profound. Come to think about it, 2075 is when my 77 acre five year old White Oak and Black Walnut forest is due to harvest. I have planned quite a celebration, and George, you and all PB members will be invited. Since I am only 66 years old that should not be a problem. Mark your calendar.
George, it was an absolute honor to meet you, wish you happy birthday and cancer survival greeting. Watching you auction your autographed hat and then get a replacement was special. You are a true gentleman. I look forward to seeing you again at all future PB conferences.
